Metamorphosis Teen Film Festival @ TPL

M. Night with an entry in the newest teen film festival. Entries are due to the Tredyffrin Township building, 1100 Duportail Road in Berwyn by Monday, July 21. The township offices are open from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

SEE YOUR FILM ON THE BIG SCREEN!

Bryn Mawr Film Institute will show a selection of Metamorphosis films at the movie theater on Monday, August 4, 9-11 pm followed by a discussion of the featured films. Visit www.brynawrfilm.org to find out more about Open Screen Mondays at BMFI.

  • Best Sound Effects
  • Best Music
  • plus the People's Choice Award

Special Guests for this year's festival will be Leo Switucha of Blue Wire Media and Susan Lehman, director and screen writer with wide experience in film, tv and commercials. They will discuss film production and career opportunities in the film industry.

Intergenerational Game Night

Friday, July 11, 6 to 9 p.m.

Ages 10 and up. Hang out with the family and play a variety of classic board games. Snack provided.

 

Bugs and Butterflies

Monday, July 14, 4 to 6 p.m.

Ages 10-14. Create unique bug origami and help raise a butterfly colony at the library.


Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants II

Wednesday, July 16th, 6-8 p.m.

at Paoli Library

Ages 13-18. Reminisce over the first movie, discuss the books and look to the next movie.  We’ll be making “Butt pillows” too— out of old blue jeans so be sure to bring a pair to cut up. Food will be provided.

Ages 10-14. Make something new from something old.


Mother-Daughter Lunch with a Book

Saturday, July 26, 1 to 3 p.m.

Ages 15 and up. Discuss The Secret Life of Bees over a delicious lunch at Fellini Cafe. Bring about $20 for lunch.
