Proposed State Budget Cuts Many Library Services

The Pennsylvania budget is currently at a standstill as lawmakers wrestle with making deep cuts and raising taxes. Glenn Miller, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Library Association explains, that "Pennsylvanians can expect library closings, reduced books, DVDs and Internet access, and fewer trained professionals to assist them." Paoli Library Plans Centennial Events

A committee of volunteers, staff and trustees from Paoli Library have begun planning a variety of events in honor of 100 years of library services in Paoli. The centennial celebration begins in January 2010 and continues throughout the year. Call Paoli Library at 610.296.7996 if you'd like to get involved. Recycle with the Paper Retriever

Earn money for Tredyffrin Public Library and improve the environment by recycling your newspapers, magazines, junk mail, catalogs and paperwork in the green and yellow Paper Retriever in the parking lot at the library, 582 Upper Gulph Road. The library will earn cash for every ton of paper collected and will use it to support library programs.
