Jennifer Lindner McGlinn, author of Gingerbread: Timeless Recipes for Cakes, Cookies, Desserts, Ice Cream, and Candy' visits the library for a presentation, book signing and tasting. THE GRID OF MODERNISM: On Picasso and the Avante-Garde in Paris

Recycle with the Paper Retriever

Earn money for Tredyffrin Public Library and improve the environment by recycling your newspapers, magazines, junk mail, catalogs and paperwork in the green and yellow Paper Retriever in the parking lot at the library, 582 Upper Gulph Road. The libraries will earn cash for every ton of paper collected and will use it to support programs.

Bring us your Acme register tapes. The Devon and Paoli Acmes will donate one percent of your purchase. Both libraries have a basket to receive your tapes.

INDIE FILM SERIES

Arranged

Two young women — one an Orthodox Jew, the other Muslim — meet and become friends as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year they learn they share much in common, not least of which is that they are both going through arranged marriages. Find more information here.

TAX HELP AT PAOLI AND TREDYFFRIN

AARP Tax-Aide, the nation’s largest, free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service, will offer tax help from February 4 - April 8 at Tredyffrin Public Library and Paoli Library. Find complete details here.
